“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;” Ps 24:1

As stewards, it's our duty to manage our Lords estate. What is the biggest way you can contribute to the preservation of Gods earth? Use less. According to experts, and common sense, this is the number one way we can care for creation. Use less material goods, use less fuel and energy. Next time you replace something, look for a green option, a more fuel-efficient car, an Energy Star rated home appliance.

Another great way to practice good stewardship is by recycling. Recycling one aluminum beverage can saves enough energy to run a 100-watt bulb for 20 hours, a computer for 3 hours or a TV for 2 hours! Recycling is also a civil act. Each trash can of recycling saves $20 in tax money!

There are several recycling convenience locations nearby to almost every city in the USA.
Some cities offer curbside pickup. Check your local city or county website for more info or consider getting private recycling pickup for a nominal fee. Most centers accept paper and plastic #1 and #2. Many accept metal and plastic #3-7 and other materials also. If your local area does not accept something you would like to recycle visit www.earth911.com to find a location that will accept it.
